A tribute to Callas and Zeffirelli

Nell’ambito del centenario della nascita di Maria Callas e di Franco Zeffirelli, con il patrocinio dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Atene e la collaborazione del Comune di Leros, vi invitiamo alla proiezione dell’ultimo film di Zeffirelli: Callas Forever, un omaggio del regista alla soprano.
La proiezione, in italiano con sottotitoli in greco, si svolgerà sabato 24 febbraio alle 21:00 ad ingresso gratuito presso il Teatro Comunale di Lakki, Leros.

Στο πλαίσιο της εκατονταετηρίδας από την γέννηση της Μαρίας Κάλλας και του Φράνκο Τζεφιρέλι, υπό την αιγίδα του Ιταλικού Μορφωτικού Ινστιτούτου Αθηνών και με την στήριξη του Δήμου Λέρου, σας προσκαλούμε στην προβολή της τελευταίας ταινίας του Τζεφιρέλι: Κάλλας για πάντα, ένα αφιέρωμα του σκηνοθέτη στην σοπράνο.

Dans le cadre du centenaire de la naissance de Callas et de Zeffirelli, samedi 24 février à 21h00 au Théâtre Municipal de Lakki, projection à Leros du dernier film de Zeffirelli : Callas Forever, un hommage du réalisateur au soprano.
La projection, en italien avec sous-titres en grec et entrée gratuite, est organisée par l’association sous le patronage de l’Institut Italien de Culture d’Athènes avec le soutien de la Municipalité de Leros.

On Saturday, February 24^th at 9 pm in Leros, at Municipal Theater of Lakki, the Association organizes the screening of Franco Zeffirelli’s latest movie: Callas Forever, a director’s tribute to the soprano, in Italian with Greek sub-titles.
The screening, with free entrance, takes place in the context of the celebrations for the centenary of the birth of Callas and Zeffirelli, under patronage of Italian Cultural Institute in Athens and with support of Leros Municipality.

“Adrias” book launch

Venerdì 24 novembre alle 19:30 presso il ‘Teatraki’ (ex Regia Dogana) della locale Filodrammatica ad Ag. Marina: presentazione in greco del volume ‘Adrias’ della giornalista Margarita Pournara. Introdurrà il SG ed interverranno l’autore e Aliki Mouriki, figlia di un ufficiale dell’equipaggio; moderatore: Nikos Fokas.
La presentazione era inizialmente programmata nell’ambito delle celebrazioni dell’80* anniversario della Battaglia di Leros, in quanto il C/T Adrias, ceduto dall’Inghilterra alla Grecia dopo la resa alle forze dell’Asse, perse la prua in un campo minato mentre era impegnato con la flotta alleata di stanza ad Alessandria nei rifornimenti a Leros durante la Battaglia.

Παρουσίαση στα ελληνικά του βιβλίου ‘Αδριας’ της δημοσιογράφου Μαργαρίτας Πουρνάρα την Παρασκευή 24 Νοεμβρίου στις 19:30 στο Θεατράκι της ΘΟΛ στην Αγ. Μαρίνα. Θα προλογίσει ο ΓΓ του ΑΙΑΛ, θα μιλήσουν η συγγραφέας και η Αλίκη Μουρίκη, κόρη ενός αξιωματικού του Α/Τ και θα συντονίσει ο Νίκος Φωκάς, εκπρόσωπος του Φιλολογικού Συλλόγου  Παρνασσού.
Η παρουσίαση ήταν προγραμματισμένη στο πλαίσιο της επετείου των 80 χρονών από την Μάχη της Λέρου σε σχέση με τον ρόλο του Α/Τ στον εφοδιασμό του νησιού  κατά την διάρκεια της Μάχης.

Présentation en grec du livre ‘Adrias’ de la reporter Margarita Pournara vendredi 24 novembre à 19h30 dans le Petit Théâtre à Ag. Marina. L’événement était prévu dans le cadre des commémorations du 80^ème anniversaire de la Bataille de Leros en fonction du rôle du navire dans le ravitaillement de l’ile pendant la Bataille.

L’annuale rassegna del cinema italiano a Leros torna all’appuntamento settimanale presso il Teatro Comunale di Lakki dal 8 novembre al 6 dicembre. Le cinque pellicole presentate, sottotitolate in greco, fanno parte della IX rassegna itinerante cinema.it_2023 che percorre la Grecia in 20 tappe con la coordinazione dell’AIAL ed il sostegno dell’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Atene.

Το φετινό 11° φεστιβάλ Ένας μήνας με τον ιταλικό κινηματογράφο παρουσιάζει στην Λέρο πέντε ταινίες που ανήκουν στο 9° περιοδεύον αφιέρωμα cinema.it_2023, το οποίο ταξιδεύει σε 20 χώρους της Ελλάδας με τον συντονισμό του AIAL και την υποστήριξη του Ιταλικού Μορφωτικού Ινστιτούτου Αθηνών.
Οι ταινίες, με ελληνικούς υπότιτλους, θα προβληθούν στο Δημοτικό Θέατρο Λακκίου από 8 Νοεμβρίου έως 6 Δεκεμβρίου κάθε Τετάρτη στις 9 μμ. με ελεύθερη είσοδο.

Les œuvres réalisés par GiDiPi en style méta-futuriste inaugurent leur parcours d'exposition en Grèce avec le vernissage à Leros dans l'atrium semi-circulaire de l'école primaire de Lakki le samedi 30 septembre à 19h00.
L'exposition s'inscrit dans le cadre des célébrations du centenaire de l'aviation militaire italienne et restera visible à Leros jusqu'au dimanche 8 octobre de 19h à 22h.

The graphic works made by GiDiPi in meta-futuristic style inaugurate their exhibition path in Greece with the opening in Leros at the semi-circular atrium of the Lakki primary school on Saturday, September 30th at 7pm.
The exhibition is part of the celebrations for the Italian Air Force centenary and will remain on display in Leros until Sunday 8 October from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Le film n’a que peu de dialogues (surtout en français), sous-titrées en anglais. Le trailer est disponible ici.

Con numerose inquadrature girate a Leros, il film fa parte del progetto Indicativo presente dei due registi che si propongono di illustrare la deriva della società contemporanea.

Vanitas (ματαιοδοξία), το πρώτο από τα δύο καλλιτεχνικά ντοκιμαντέρ που παρουσιάζονται και ανήκουν στην Τριλογία του παρόντος του Mario Brenta και Karine De Villers, θα προβληθεί την Τετάρτη 28 Ιουνίου στις 9 μμ στο Θερινό Σινεμά Λακκίου.
Με πολυάριθμα πλάνα τραβηγμένα στην Λέρο, η ταινία δεν έχει διαλόγους και τα λίγα παραθέματα που μερικές φορές εμφανίζονται έχουν αγγλικούς υποτίτλους.

book launch in italian

La presentazione in italiano del volume bilingue “Portolago e dintorni”, recentemente pubblicato dall’editore ETPbooks di Atene, avrà luogo mercoledì 21 giugno alle 19:00 presso i locali della Biblioteca Comunale a Platanos, accanto l’edificio del Municipio.
Era stata preceduta a dicembre da quella in greco, nella cui pagina del sito trovate una succinta introduzione al volume.
Interverranno l’editore Enzo Terzi, il ricercatore Graziano Pellicciari ed il curatore del volume Enzo Bonanno, mentre Enrico Patrucco leggerà alcuni brani.

Η παρουσίαση στα ιταλικά του βιβλίου «Πορτολάγκο και περίχωρα», πρόσφατα δημοσιευμένο από τον εκδοτικό οίκο ETPbooks της Αθήνας, ακολουθεί εκείνη στα ελληνικά που έγινε τον περασμένο Δεκέμβριο.
Θα λάβει χώρα την Τετάρτη 21 Ιουνίου στις 7 μμ στην Δημοτική Βιβλιοθήκη Πλατάνου, και θα συμμετάσχουν ο εκδότης Enzo Terzi, ο ερευνητής Graziano Pellicciari και ο επιμελητής Enzo Bonanno, με τη συνοδεία απαγγελίας αποσπασμάτων από τον Enrico Patrucco.

 La présentation (en italien) du livre “Portolago e dintorni” (Portolago et alentours), qui avait été présenté en grec en décembre dernier, aura lieu mercredi 21 juin à 19h00 à la Bibliothèque Municipale de Platanos.
Y participeront l’éditeur Enzo Terzi, le rechercher Graziano Pelliciari et Enzo Bonanno qui a soigné le volume, tandis que Enrico Patrucco lira quelques passages.

The launch (in Italian) of the book “Portolago e dintorni” (Portolago and surroundings), just published in two languages by ETPbooks publishing house in Athens, follows the book launch in Greek of last December.
It will take place at the Municipal Library of Platanos on Wednesday, June 21^st at 7pm.
The publisher Enzo Terzi, the researcher Graziano Pellicciari and the book editor Enzo Bonanno will participate, and Enrico Patrucco will read some excerpts.
